    Doesn't Quite Deliver, But Holds Promise 0

    This episode of Agents of SHIELD has perhaps the most engrossing opening yet, with a S.H.I.E.L.D. convoy attacked by an unseen force. Unfortunately that opening is the most exciting part of the episode. The Hollywood Reporter accurately put it by saying that with this episode the series is "on its way to finding its footing, but it's still a bit clumsy".     Now that is more like it! “The Asset” kept close to the formula of a case of the week, but subverted it in a couple ways and explored some moral grey areas. All at 8 p.m. on ABC. Interesting moral discussions on the nature of power and the greater good are worth watching, even if it means putting up with Chloe Bennet acting.Opening up on a crazy heist, which was influenced by Fast and the Furious, is certainly a great attention grabber for the first act.
