    Adventure Comics #518 takes us forward to the 31st century in which the Legion of Super-heroes oparate. Like other issues of the Legion Adventure comics the stories are not, in a sence, self contained but are tales of events that happened inbetween the first stories of the legion from Adventure comics first run ( this one is set before Adventure comics #304 which came out in 1963 with the legion second feature "The stolen super-powers" ).   The issue startes with the Legion ( led by cosmic boy )...
