    Yay Superboy is back! 0

Obviously by now you all know, Superboy is back!! A Whole lot of this comic is how he deals with being back and some of the stuff he does. Hes also become a lot more...humble is i think the word i can best use, he has a whole new outlook on life and begins trying to model himself after Superman. While this is happening though he makes a stop to Lex Luthors old house, and it seems like hes trying to connect with his other half(he is after all half Superman and Half Lex). All over it was a great s...

The Boy is Back in Town 0

Superboy is the reason why I am in comics today. I love him in the Reign of Superman and I grew up reading his series before it was cancel after 100 issues, even when it got a bit weird at the end with Joe Kelly and Didio. When he died in Infinite Crisis, I was sad, but at least they send him off with a bang, saving the entire, then they brought him back in Lo3W and I was happy as can, when I heard that he's going to have his own series again, I exploded in shere joy.   So far, we Superboy being...

Boring start, but back-up feature was good. 0

Beautiful art. But bit of a boring start story wise. It was good, but the story basically focuses on Superboy settling back in Smallville, and not much else. There are a few little plot lines seeded and continued from other books including that weird alien thingy from ‘Superman’ (remember the Guardian’s buddy) by Johns that also tied into the Legion back up which was cool. Starman was the focus of the back up and he is such a great character. The back up rocked.    Like my review? (Or even if ...

    Better tn it deserves 0

After his return from the dead in Legion of Three Worlds, Superboy has taken up residence On the Kent farm in smallville. There he is filling out a list of things that Superman has done, and is crossing them off as he does them himself. We get a look at the way he is handeling the smalltown life, and it looks like he is there for awhile.  I do not know what it is, but there is a certain atmosphere to the book that has me liking it, probably a little more than it deserves.  There is no supportin...

    The Return 0

The epic Return of Superboy, alias Connor or Kon-El is felt here. You all probably know that Superboy died in Infinite Crisis #6 (to the distress of most readers) but then returned in Legion of three worlds (not sure what issue). This issue shows us what Connor does now that he is back: He tries to become more like his fathers. The issue is not as interesting as issue 2, since I was really looking forward to the Superboy-Wonder Girl reunion, and thought he would do that here. One main questio...

    "You're a Kent" 0

The return of Adventure Comics is and should be an event. Geoff and Francis execute this wonderfully. Manapul is just as much at home drawing stunningly beautiful Kansas farmland as superheroes in action. It's good to see that Johns treats Superboy with an interesting blend of reverence for the classic Superboy of the 50's and 60's as well as acknowledgement of the character's actual roots as a product of both Superman and Luthor. The story depicts a Superboy adjusting to comic book resurrection...
