So, in Action Comics we see a young-ish but not really superman and how he started his career in crime fighting. In the comics we see him and his newish friends Lois and Jimmy. Whoopdeedoo. We knew they were going to show up in Superman's present day but in his early days? Lame. I was hoping in the pages of Action Comics we'd get to see his REAL early friends such as Pete Ross and Lana Lang, his first BEST friend and his FIRST LOVE. But all we get was that little side story in the back of this months issue. Do you guys care we don't get to see these two characters or are you indifferent?

Well considering that the New 52 is still essentially a baby, there's plenty of time to establish flashbacks somewhere along the line.

Flashbacks, true, but i was hoping for them to be in current stories so we can watch Clark/Supes, Lana, and Pete develop relationships together and grow. It would be a nice getaway from Lois/Jimmy, despite me loving them, its a nice change.
