Origin
Ab-Humans were the murderous aliens inhabitants of the Planet of the Damned. Green skinned with leathery skin and no facial features bar an acid spitting mouth, they preyed on the humans unfortunate enough to be drawn through the Bermuda Triangle's dimension warp to their world. Though not technologically advanced, and lacking in speech, they were not unintelligent - they were capable of deception (luring a group of new arrivals not yet wary of Ab-Humans to a pool that contained acid instead of water), had tamed winged beasts to ride, and, in one instance, they saved a badly burned human by transforming him into a hybrid of man and their own species.
Creation
Ab-Humans were created by Pat Mills (under the pen name R.E. Wright) and Horacio Lalia for the Starlord strip Planet of the Damned.
