Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man each face a different adversary only to conclude in the Quinjet later on that each of the enemies they fought had inter-connected parts in a greater elaborate and diabolical plan. They contemplate on the list of enemies they have fought over the years before coming to land before an American Armed Forces Exchange declaring that the true heroes of this day and age are members of the U.S. military.
