    In the final installment of 300, it should comes as no surprise if you know your history, the Spartans make a final stand against an army that will overwhelm them. It's an age-old tale, The Alamo, The Charge of the Light Brigade, etc. the ultimate price paid by soldiers whose lives are not wasted, but sacrificed like pawns in a gambit to win a war. While Miller and Varley's version may arguably be less powerful than some of the poetry, stories and films of some of these other war stories, it is ...
